AnnouncementsACT InformationPeggy Varnado ofKeyPrep Educational Consulting is offering a "Super A.C.T.Review" in Gulfport on Sunday, January 31, from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. This session will be held in the conference room of John Fayard Moving and Warehousing, 10323 Express Drive (directions are attached in letter to parents). Also find attached the flyer publicizing the workshop and a registration form. Parents and students should contact Ms. Varnado directly to register. Major point-getting strategies in each of the 4 subtests of the A.C.T. plus "Game Day Tips" will be covered. The tuition will be $175 which includes study and practice materials. New School Hours:As you are aware, the State of Mississippi is experiencing economic hardships based on tax collections accross the State. In an effort to make sure the Gulfport School District has the ability to absorb the shortfalls under the current and future budget years, the District will begin a three-tier bus system on January 5, 2010, when students return for the second semester (spring semester) of the 2009-2010 school year. Beginning on January 5, 2010, the following instructional schedule will me implemented at Gulfport High School: This three-tier system allows the Gulfport School District to cut 7-8 routes, thus having a positive economic impact on the District.
